Black and white cats unpopular among Windsor cat owners.

According to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in Priest Hill,

Old Windsor, people are overlooking black and white cats for more 'colourful'

cats, such as tabbies and gingers. This is causing a backlog of felines who are

struggling to be placed at good homes.

details.

I completely agree with you...colour should not matter... what should matter is giving them a good home.

This is just mad. What difference does it make what colour the animal is?

I got a black cat from the Battersea home in Windsor back in 2006. She's sleek and beautiful and is the most good natured cat you could ever come across. In five years she's never bitten, scratched or hissed at us, always answers to her name and is really good fun and chatty.

A friend of mine also had a black cat who was very sweet and mellow. I don't know if that's coincidence, but I would always choose a black cat over any other colour because they're fab!

People need to stop being so prejudiced and silly and appreciate just how great black and white cats are.
