Windsor couple receive land from a mystery benefactor

It is the
stuff made possible in the movies where a mystery benefactor makes a dream come
true for a struggling couple. In real life, John and Fiona Devine from Dedworth
have been trying for four years to find a site to open a children's hospice,
which would be in the memory of their son Alexander who died at the age of eight after
suffering from brain tumour.
The benefactor, who shall remain a mystery, has
gifted the couple a land in Woodlands Park near Maidenhead. However, a special
planning permission needs to be granted to build there as the site is on
greenbelt and would require permission from the Royal Borough. The Devine's charity,
the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service is waiting for the planning
application to be decided by the Royal Borough planning panel by November 18th

Just like you say – stuff straight out of Hollywood. On reading the first couple of paragraphs I just thought: "lucky them" but when I read on about what it would be used for I just a great news story – lets hope they get planning permission and the support they need to build the hospice.
