ReportI went into the arts center hoping to speak with the reception about possible events coming to Windsor. While there was nobody there to help me out, there were enough information lying around on the desk counter about all the events happening at the center this summer.
While it made up for missing reception team, it would have been nice have somebody behind the desk to talk more with in details.
Perhaps a suggestion to the arts center.... leave a signage to let people know whether staff is off for lunch/not in today/gone out for a bit. That way we don't have to wait around for a long time before giving up.
If anyone has seen a play or attended an event at the arts center, do let me know about your experience. I would love to hear from you!

ReportThis is the defining arts-centre for Windsor, attracting the smaller, more obscure acts than the big acts that may grace bigger stages. I went for a comedy gig and the whole setting was of a relaxing cabaret style. The crimson lighting waving over flickering candle light, the aura was very chilled-out, so much so that the decoration on ceiling even looked like a matress. There were also two bars, one in and outside the performance hall.
Unfortunately though with these perks came a lot of downsides. The box-office booth is continually unoccupied. I tried to buy tickets at noon, but the barman informed me everyone else was on lunch together. I returned two hours later and it was still unoccupied. Instead there were now three people behind the four-foot long bar chatting before I requested for the purchase of a ticket from the box-office.
Once I was at the venue, there were no signs leading to the main hall, and the show I paid to watch started 20 minutes late, despite the acts already there drinking in the bar above.
It is great to have such a good venue in the town that offers comedy, music, film and classes, in a pleasant mood-enhancing environment.. However the general running of the centre must be called into question as the process of getting into the show or class is definitely not easy-going.
