In case you didn't know, Starbucks in Windsor stays open till 7 in the evening....which is perfect for those who want to unwind after shops have closed at 6 or those who finished work. It is usually quieter after 6 in the week days....which is a plus point!

I agree about the claustrophobic atmosphere and cannot understand why they don't move to larger premises. Lately the air conditioning has not been working (for at least two weeks) making a relaxing coffee impossible in a cramped overheated uncomfortable environment. This does not make Starbucks look very good that they do not consider the comfort of their customers and fix the aircon. Have stopped going now even though I prefer their coffee.
With paying by cash going out of fashion, the card machine being out of order the last time I went to this Starbucks caused real problems. Staff weren’t coping particularly well – letting people order and then when they went to pay by card explaining the machine wasn’t working and did they have cash. I have also found staff here not as friendly as those at other Starbuck – that said it’s normally that forced, big brand/corporate friendly “how are you/ have a nice day” stuff but I still like it!
I love Starbucks and I know a lot of people INCLUDING our tourists love Starbucks. Its a brand name that is known world wide. In Windsor, Starbucks is used by the local and the tourists alike. The place gets busy, understandably however the seating arrangement is disappointing. There are times when I want to come to Starbucks, order my favourite Caramel Macchiato and sit down with my book. But I cannot do so because it is jam packed. For a tiny place, it really gives a feeling of claustrophobia.
Perhaps they just want to serve as a takeaway place for people to carry their drinks outside. Well.... the size of the cafe is a real let down!
