Body Found Near Windsor Great Park Is Missing Millionairess

Police have confirmed that the body that was found near Windsor Great Park on Friday is that of local millionairess Joanna Brown who had been reported missing last Monday 1st.

A member of Mrs Brown's family became worried last week when they were unable to reach her and they alerted police. Officers who forced their way into her Ascot home believed she may have been attacked and widened their search.

Mrs Brown was going through a divorce from her husband Robert and when police located her body he was arrested and charged with her murder.

Officers said Mrs Brown had suffered a "severe blunt force trauma to the head"

The couple have two children. Friends of Mrs Brown said she was a "very special person" who was "loved and admired by everyone".Mr Brown attended Reading Crown Court today to hear the charges against him which include murder and preventing a coroner from opening an inquest. He was remanded in custody until 10th February 2011 when there will be a case management hearing and he can enter his plea.
