Father of three Shaleem Amar lived nearby in a six bedroom house in Sunningdale's Hancocks Mount. His wife and children had been staying elsewhere so detectives have been searching the property in an attempt to determine whether Mr Amar had been held against his will at the house.
Four men have been charged with Mr Amar's murder following their arrest when the white Mercedes van they were driving on Wednesday was stopped by police and Mr Amar was discovered in the back.
They are Robert Johnston, 56, Ben Johnston 26, Tom Johnston, 24, and Shaun Matthews, 54, all from Cambridgeshire.
Questions are likely to be asked following the incident earlier this week when armed police pulled over the van in Sunningdale following a tip off, but took 45 minutes to discover Mr Amar inside who was struggling to breath and close to death.
Mr Amar was found inside a large cement bag. Police gave him medical attention at the scene but failed to save his life.
The case was referred to the IPCC by Thames Valley Police but an IPCC commissioner later said "there was no reason why officers should have suspected anybody was injured in the back of the van".
Mr Amar leaves an eight year old son and two daughters aged seven and three.
