I really miss Caleys as it was one of the nicest department stores we had in Windsor. I was particularly sad when it was closed down. I do feel we could do with another well-known department store. Do you think we could do with a John Lewis in Windsor?

I loved Caleys! As a child I used to get my school uniform from there - their uniform department was in the attic and you had to climb up very creaky stairs to get to it. Happy memories.

As an adult, I used to love mooching about in there and often bought electricals and homeware there. I also used to like the strange sideways entrance and the fact you had to go past the coffee roasting place to get to it. It's such a shame it closed down. I'd love to see another John Lewis in Windsor so, apart from anything else, I could buy my Liz Earle products there without having to pay P&P from their own site or going up to Wycombe.

Can someone start a campaign to bring John Lewis back to Windsor?
