Snow stopped the clock before Christmas, but we're all wound up to go this time.

Cllr Colin Rayner, lead member for highways and streetcare, will place a time capsule in the space previously occupied by the Dyson clock, outside Windsor Terrace Thai restaurant, on Friday 28 January at 11.30am.

The new clock will then be secured into place and the Mayor, Cllr Catherine Bursnall, will officially unveil the new pavement clock at 12noon. Photographers and reporters are warmly invited to attend.

This event was originally planned for Friday 3 December but was postponed after severe weather meant the clockmakers were unable to make the journey.
