All Royal Borough Schools Remain Open As Snow Barely Falls In Windsor

The information we have so far is that all schools in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead have stayed open today because snow fall in the borough last night was so light.
Main routes into and out of the town are also open, although in some places roads are slippery so drive slowly, carefully and test your brakes. Police have issued travel warnings in surrounding boroughs so check your destination before you set out.
Some schools in Slough and Bracknell have closed, although the majority are staying open.
Worst hit is Basingstoke where about 50% of schools are shut.
Check the BBC Berkshire website for up to the minute info, but I will be posting updates here as I get them.
Keep warm everyone!
