This small pub at the foot of Peascod Street doesn't look too pretty from the outside, but one step past the door and a galaxy of rugby memorabilia will await you.
Signed British and Irish Lions, Wasps and London Irish rugby shirts and a varatiation of jerseys both local and international plaster the walls. There is even a framed Celtic replica shirt from their European Cup winning days, to keep the football fans happy.
The pub itself is fairly standard, the beer selection is pretty ordinary and there is just the one TV for live sport. But there is a quiet and pleasant atmosphere, and the bar staff make you feel very homely. It's the perfect place for a warm-up pint on the way to the Fire Station.
