The Carpenters Arms is another excellent pub in Windsor. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere this is a place with lots of history and you can enjoy a pint of real ale or a glass of classic wine. You can dine too with traditional food served until 10pm.

One of the most interesting pubs in Windsor in tucked away along a cobbled passage beside the castle. This small delight is so hidden it is isloated from the bustle of tourists and party-goers offering a charming place to enjoy one a proper drink.
The guest ales change according to season, with one of the summer drinks including the rare and popular green ale, Stonehenge: Sign of Spring. There is also a dungeon downstairs to add to the character, cordoning off what was a secret passge to the castle.
The food is not spectacular and it is a little cramped and quiet, but for a Nicholson's pub it is a great place and one I seriously recommend for small parties.
