The relaxing family-friendly branch offers its' usual blend of great value roast dinners away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. The restaurant is busy on Sundays and a long wait can be expected, but the staff are very welcoming.
Sadly the appeal of the adjacent pub does not match the restaurant. There is almost the feeling that no one wants the bar to be there and the pathetically cramped beer garden adds to those concerns. Despite those short-comings this is a popular place to eat for the young and old and a great place for a family get-together.
