Windsor Remains Snow Free

It seems like the whole country is under deep snow today - except us!
Yes, while nearby counties are freezing under feet of the white stuff, Windsor and the surrounding area has remained virtually clear of snow.
That's not to say Windsor residents haven't been affected, since even short journeys from the Royal Borough have run into areas under heavy snow. Many were stranded for hours on the M25 last night in freezing conditions, and this morning part of the M3 near Bagshott was closed.
Snow is again predicted for tonight, but we're only expected to see two to three centimetres, so it's likely roads and schools will remain open tomorrow.
However if you need to travel or commute to towns further afield check weather and road reports before you set out. Those who've had snow already are predicted for more tonight and in many areas police are advising essential travel only. If you have to go out, go prepared for freezing conditions.
Stay safe and stay warm!
